Did you know that...
Wembley Central, on the West Coast Main Line, is an interchange train station in northwest London. The station is operated by Arriva Rail London and London Underground Limited (LUL) and provides suburban services, while GTR Southern and London Northwestern Railway both provide regional services.
The station is located on High Road (east-west side) and serves Wembley Stadium and the adjacent Wembley Arena. The modest-sized road has an elevated position which makes Wembley Central look like an underground station. Whenever there is a major event happening at Wembley station, all train running to and from Euston by the London Northway Railway network terminate at platform 5 and 6.
The usual off-peak services of Wembley Central, from Monday to Saturday, are 1 train per hour to Milton Keynes Central and East Croydon (GTR Southern); 1 train per hour to Tring and London Euston (London Northwestern Railway); 3 trains per hour to Watford Junction and London Euston (via the London Overground network); and 6 trains per hour to Elephant & Castle and Harrow & Wealdstone (via the Bakerloo line).
