Did you know that...
Weston Green is a tiny residential town and an electoral district within the Elmbridge borough of Surrey. The area is adjacent to Esher, where the nearest railway station (Esher station, on the South Western Main line) to the village is located.
All Saints, an Anglican church which as constructed in 1939, can be found in Weston Green. The church was designed by Edward Maufe, who created the oddly rounded Catholic church Guildford Cathedral. Constructed from 1928 to 1932, Hampton Court Way divides the town and became the boundary between the post towns of Thames Ditton and Esher.
Weston Green partly occupied lands of 2 manors of ancient Thames Ditton – the manor of Immeworth (belonged to Ralphe de Imworth during Henry III’s reign) and the manor of Weston. The area is primarily composed of detached housing, with some semi-detached and terraced houses and flats.
